Multi-Family Design Professional

Alta Architects is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Family Design Professional with an interest in all phases of Architectural Projects to work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager/Architect. Candidate is committed to creative design solutions, exceptional quality work, and the desire to grow quickly in experience and responsibility.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5+ years’ post grad experience with employment in Architectural firms with a specific focus on multi-family developments.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:
– Experience with multi-family developments
– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program preferred

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITES: 

  • Develop architectural and construction drawings, under direct Project Manager/Architect supervision, for all phases of Design (SD, DD, CD, and CA) utilizing Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD

Senior Electrical Engineer

Verde Studio Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with the skills and aspiration to provide leadership in electrical engineering for the integrated project delivery of challenging and stimulating projects on a wide range of project types and sizes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes Senior Electrical Engineer role working in conjunction with Architectural,Mechanical, and other disciplines designing the built environment.
Leads design of overall normal and emergency power distribution systems in commercial,academic, and medical facilities.
Design of branch circuit power distribution systems.
Design of Building Interior and Exterior Lighting Systems and Controls.
Design of fire alarm system
Perform calculations to support system designs.
Perform CA tasks including review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and CAmeeting attendance.
Conduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observations.

Qualifications and Competencies:
Proficient in Project Management and interpersonal skills to maintain successful clientrelationships.
Strong familiarity with current NEC and Building Codes.
Develops Electrical and Fire Alarm Specifications.

Technology/Computer Experience:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office software.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:
10+ years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design with an architectural orMEP firm.

Requirements:
Current PE registration (State of Texas).
Current valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

Project Manager

Alta Architects is currently seeking an experienced PROJECT MANAGER with the skills and aspiration to provide leadership for integrated project delivery of challenging and stimulating projects, managing clients and in-house teams while working under the direction of the Principal-in-Charge on a wide range of project types and sizes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7-15 years post grad experience with employment in Architectural firms, 5 years minimum managing architectural project delivery.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:
Registration as a licensed Architect in the State of Texas required, at minimum a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates should demonstrate proven ability to communicate and work well with firm principals, retain client relationships, manage client project representatives and managers, and guide project architect driven teams to successful project outcomes. Candidates should have strong graphic and verbal communication skills with a proven portfolio of work in related project types, and aspiration to further the firm’s grounding in culturally based design.  Candidates with strong skills in project programming and design desirable.  Broad knowledge of technical detailing, materials, and products for heavy commercial projects essential.

Responsibilities will include overall management of the project delivery team including managing day-to-day project communications with clients, in-house support and outside consultants, overseeing preparation of design studies from concepts through CD’s, organization, and coordination of construction documents, directing and attending client meetings, and follow through management during bidding and construction administration.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate a wide variety of abilities, including computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and MS Office, as well as hand graphics and illustration, with the ability to interact positively with clients, consultants, general contractors, and our studio team are essential.
